Jason Alexander, 40, the first husband of Britney Spears, 40, was arrested for breaking into hours before the venue where the singer was to be married to Sam Asghari, 28, this Thursday (9), in the United States. According to EW, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant for violating a restraining order against another woman.
Alexander even made a live on his profile on Instagram to show the location of the ceremony and the decorations that were still being assembled by the organizers of the party. According to People, he could be heard shouting her name and telling security that he had been invited to the wedding.
“Britney Spears invited me here. She’s my first wife, my only wife. I’m her first husband. I’m here to ruin the marriage,” Alexander shouted.
The singer’s attorney, Mathew S. Rosengart, said he is in custody and thanked the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for quick work. “I look forward to working with them to ensure he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Rosengart said.
Spears was married to Alexander, a childhood friend, for 55 hours in January 2004, after the couple tied the knot at Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
