The shooting of the BBC series Crossfire has officially started, starring Keeley Hawes.

Sunbathing on the balcony of her hotel room while on holiday with family and friends, Jo’s (Keeley Hawes) world is turned upside down when gunshots are heard throughout the complex.
Armed men, in an instant, turn a piece of paradise ideal for a dream vacation, into a scary hell.
With unsuspecting holidaymakers and hotel staff being forced to make life or death decisions in fractions of a second, the consequences of which will be seen even after the shootings. Especially after I.

Louise Doughty mentioned about the series:
“This is a drama about a group of ordinary people involved in an unusual event – an armed attack on the hotel where they are staying. Each character is faced with a series of dilemmas. At the center of it all is Joe, who closed the holidays and unknowingly put her family and friends – and herself – in danger. “I’m fascinated by the idea of so – called ordinary people responding to intense pressure, and I could not be more excited to write the script for such a BBC series and work with the amazing Keeley Hawes for the lead role.”
Speaking about the character she plays in the series, the protagonist Keeley Hawes said:
“I’m so excited to embark on this extremely exciting journey with the BBC series. The shooting has already started and we are happy to work with the team of Dancing Ledge Productions and Louise Doughty in its first original production for television “.
