Shakira hires detectives to discover Piqué’s betrayal

The end of the marriage of Shakira, 45, and Gerard Piqué, 35, is still a hot topic in the Spanish press a week after the announcement of the separation. This Tuesday (14), the program ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’, from the Univisión channel, revealed that the Colombian singer hired a detective agency to find out if the football player had an extramarital affair and that’s how she managed to find out. Also according to the report, Shakira received from detectives a material with compromising photos of her then husband with another woman. The evidence served for the singer to ask for the separation of the player and were also bought at the weight of gold. She paid dearly for the images to never be sold or published in any media.

Shakira’s suspicion of betrayal would have started after the player’s constant night outings. Piqué and Shakira confirmed their separation at the end of May. Days earlier, the podcast “Mamarazzis”, from the Spanish newspaper “El Periodico” had revealed the betrayal of defender Barcelona. On the other hand, the program “Socialité”, on the Telecinco broadcaster, stated that Pique has an affair with a waitress at the nightclub “La Travessia”, which is very frequented by the cast of the Catalan team.

The couple’s last publications together are from March. A month earlier, Shakira even published an image with her husband to celebrate Valentine’s Day, when Valentine’s Day (February 14) is celebrated in some countries. She also celebrated when her husband reached the mark of 600 games for Barcelona (15 March). The couple have two children, 9-year-old Milan and 7-year-old Sasha.

In April, Shakira released the single “Te Felicito”, a partnership with Rauw Alejandro.
