On the occasion of Music Festivalthe 2023 Elefsina European Capital of Culture organizes the Danceteria with guests talented DJs and musicians whose purpose is to make us move while dancing!
On Saturday, June 18, the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture organizes the Danceteria, transforming the courtyard of the Old Olive Mill into a dance floor. This special party-like celebration will begin immediately after the presentation of the action Mystery 57_ Acrobatics in Elefsina & Reviewing the landscapes of Eleusis. An original performance of acrobatics, contemporary dance and music by Greek and French artists.
Its courtyard area welcomes talented DJs Black Athena, Dimitri Papaioannou (Synch Festival, Movement radio) and Ilias Pitsios (aka Dynamons – Echovolt Records & Into The Light Records) as well as the musician and MC, Jeff Gonzalez or otherwise BNC (Sky Vector Music). Their sound could be considered as a musical – rhythmic safari that alternates from the modern urban sound to the most special paths of disco, house and dance culture in general of the last 30 years.
In the evening they open Black Athenathe flagships of the black intergalactic sound through time.
The sequel is undertaken by the music producer and MC, Jeff Gonzalez or BNC (Bruises N Cuts). Jeff has been active on stage for over fifteen years and has collaborated with artists such as Blend Mishkin, Palov, Sugahspank Happy Dog Project, Cast– a – Blast Sound System, Champagne & Reefer, Capitan Futuro, K73 (DE), RSN, Imam Baildi, Supersan, Max Rubadub (SW) and Cayetano among others.
The sound His is a very characteristic musical mix of hip hop, jazz, funk and electronica, he has released three personal albums.
This year, he launched his collaboration with Sky Vector Music with the release of the EP “Brown Sugar” in May, while in the fall he releases his fourth album “The Bonnie & Clyde Syndrome”, in a co-production of Polish Mind The Wax and SVM.
Towards the end of the evening, Dimitri Papaioannou, co-founder of the legendary Synch Festival, radio producer, and DJ among others, will share the console with Ilias Pitsios (aka Dynamons – founding member of the Greek labels Echovolt Records and Into The Light Records, with emphasis on unexplored Greek electronic music). Their sets are based on classical and experimental dance music up to Afro sounds.
