Canadian singer and photographer Bryan Adams, 62, tested positive for Covid upon arrival at Milan’s Malpensa Airport this Thursday (25th), before the reveal of the Pirelli 2022 calendar, which he photographed.
Adams shared the positive test on Instagram, which included a photo of him in a room after the test and then sitting in an ambulance being taken for a PCR test. He was sitting normally and wearing a mask.
“Here I am, just arrived in Milan and tested positive for the second time in a month for Covid. Then I’m going to the hospital,” wrote Adams.
Adams photographed the 2022 Pirelli calendar. He had been hired to shoot the 2021 version, which was canceled due to the pandemic. The singer went to Italy to appear in face-to-face events for the press promoting the calendar next Sunday (29th) and Monday (30th).
The revealing of the Pirelli calendar is a gala event with the presence of those who appear and the famous. This year, the event was reduced due to the pandemic, with a small guest list for an evening cocktail party.
Adams chose as the theme for the calendar called “On the road” other musical talents such as Iggy Pop, Cher, Jennifer Hudson, Saweetie and St. Vincent.
