Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, admits that it is not “easy” to find time to spend with Prince Charles – her husband of 17 years – due to their demanding work schedule.

“Sometimes they are like ships passing through the night, but we always sit together and have a cup of tea and talk about our day. “We have a moment,” he continued.
“It’s great to say that when we have little time. You know, when we leave, the nicest thing is that we actually sit and read our books in different corners of the same room. It’s very relaxing because you know you do not need to talk. “You just sit and be with the other.”
All the clothes in the Vogue photo shoot were from her personal wardrobe. As she says, she likes fashion – to a certain extent – she knows what suits her, she works closely with the costume designer Jacqui Meakin (who also dressed the Queen Mother) and generally chooses decency over imagination.
“I had extra nails, but I lost them while gardening yesterday,” he says with a laugh.
She was moved by Vogue’s invitation to take a photo, although she hesitated to pose for her first portraits in the famous fashion magazine, in her eighties.
