Union gives special authorization for Jade Picon to act in Globo soap opera

The influencer and former BBB with almost 21 million followers on Instagram will even be one of the protagonists of “Travessia”, Globo’s next 9 pm soap opera. She, who is neither an actress nor has a professional record in the category, the DRT, got a special authorization from the Sated-RJ (Sindicato dos Artistas e Técnicos em Estáculos de Diversions do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) to act in the plot of Glória Perez. This a month after the president of the entity assured the F5 that if necessary, she would go to court, but Jade wouldn’t be cast without her certificate.

“We gave her a special authorization. A specific permission for her to act on a certain product [novela] and with expiration date. Work’s over, done. She will not have the right to professional registration when the plot ends”, commented Hugo Gross in a live on Instagram on Monday night (20).

The network wanted to enforce this agreement and we had to give the authorization”, observed the actor.

According to Hugo, Jade will have 5% of her salary deducted monthly because of the authorization and if she wants to continue in her career, she will need a diploma from a professional training course or a recognized actor’s workshop. In addition to presenting a portfolio of works carried out that prove their experience in the area. “She’ll have to run after it,” he finished.

Earlier, Jade appeared in a photo with part of the cast of “Travessia”. She also posted a video of when she received the answer from Globo that she had passed the soap opera test. “Come ‘Travessia’, come Chiara ‘!
