Klara Castanho generates a wave of solidarity between celebrities on the networks

Klara Castanho began to receive messages of support on her networks this Saturday (25), the moment she published an open letter on her Instagram to her almost 5 million followers. In it, the 21-year-old actress tells of being a victim of rape, talks about the process of donating the baby for adoption and narrates in (disgusting) details the way she went through – from physical violence to situations of humiliation and disrespect before, during and after the baby is born.

Klara’s account, now affectionately called Klarinha even by those who don’t know her, moved the country and generated a vigorous wave of solidarity on the networks. Giovanna Antonelli declared her love for the actress: “I always imagined that if I ever had daughters, I would want them to be like you. Sweet, intelligent, good-natured, talented and full of personality. Always count on my love, in the midst of a world so hostile to around us. I love you”.

Felipe Neto was direct – but no less affectionate: “I love you and the whole of Brazil is with you. The monsters will not win!”. Cleo said “he has no words” to translate what he feels in front of a girl who has gone through so much violence and wished “much strength and justice”.

The contents of the letter aroused not only empathy and emotion, but also indignation and revolt. “We live in fear of being a woman, fear of what the other can do to our body, of judgment, of having our intimacy invaded”, wrote Rafa Kalimann.
