“Back to the Future” was named the best new musical at the 2022 Olivier Awards.
After the successful performances at West Endthe musical «Back To The Future» will “come to life” on Broadway next year, as its producers confirmed on twitter.
“Synchronize your watches -” Back To The Future “is coming to Broadway in 2023 !!!”, the tweet states, with a short clip. No other details have been announced at this time.
The reactions and reviews were rave about this particular musical. Based on the eponymous classic film of 1985, starring Michael J. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd brought a sense of nostalgia to that generation by listening to the compositions of Grammy Award-winning composers Alan Sylvester and Glen Ballard, accompanied by her original classic songs.
The story takes place in the 80’s, where a young boy accidentally turns the time, in the 50’s! The scientist, Dr. Emmett must find a way for McFly to return to the future to avoid the catastrophic effects of time travel.
It is recalled that “Back to the Future” was named the best new musical at the awards Olivier of 2022.
