The Australian crooner’s message told the model that from now on she should only contact him through his lawyers
THE Jerry Hall, 66 years old, she confessed to her friends that “her heart was broken” when o Rupert Murdoch, 91-year-old, sent her a “dry” email to announce their marriage was over, just as she was expecting him to join her in the UK.
The model married Murdoch in 2016, and told a pal: “I still love him, I’m devastated.”
The Australian hunk’s message told the model that she should contact him from now on only through his lawyers.
Murdoch, chairman and chief executive of News Corp, is worth £14 billion.
Hall filed divorce papers in Los Angeles County Court on Friday, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. He also stated that he “ignores the full nature and extent of all separate assets and debts” involved in the divorce. Mr Murdoch has 30 days to respond to the documents.
Sources from the model’s camp say that problems began to arise in their relationship during the pandemic.
