O Apistos: New foreign series from Monday, July 11 on SKAI

The new drama series “Unfaithful” premieres on SKAI on Monday 11 July at 21.00 and will be broadcast every day from Monday to Friday at the same time with two exciting episodes.

“Apistos” is the Turkish adaptation of the popular series Dr. BBC1’s Foster, which was shown successfully in many countries, from France to India and from Korea to Russia.

In the new series, a dynamic and successful doctor sees her perfect family life fall apart when she learns her husband’s guilty secret. How far will a hurt and betrayed woman go to expose her unfaithful husband and make him pay?

The main characters of the story

Cansu Dere (Assiya)

Asiya was born and raised in Izmir but lost her parents at a young age in a suspicious car accident. She fell in love with Volkan, whom she followed to his hometown, Raidesto. In this city she “built” her medical career and created her family with Volkan and their son, Ali. She is extremely meticulous, dedicated to her work and her family but often becomes domineering and demanding. The most precious thing in her life is Ali, so when she discovers Volkan’s infidelity, she risks everything to stay with her son.

Caner Cindoruk (Volcano)

Volkan is a successful and ambitious architect. He lost his father early, grew up with his mother and together with Asiya have made the ideal family, or at least that’s what everyone thinks. The seemingly perfect professional and family life collapses when his wife discovers his extramarital affair with a much younger girl, her pregnancy and the financial problems facing Volkan’s company. The confrontation between the husband and wife begins with the claim of Ali’s custody and soon goes out of bounds.

Melis Sezen (Derrin)

Daughter of a well-known family of Raidestou with a father a rich businessman and former mayor and mother, a woman with an intense social life who interferes in the affairs of her children and not only. She is a clothing and jewelry designer but works as a hobby. When she becomes the rock of scandal and causes the marriage of Assiya and Volkan to break up, she becomes the target of everyone and is forced to move abroad with Volkan and their newborn daughter.

Özge Özder (Deria) Yeliz Kuvanci (Bahar) Eren Vyrdem (Mert)

Deria, Bahar and Mert are childhood friends of Volkan. Bahar and Mert are married to each other and live next door to Assiya and Volkan, while Deria is a doctor – Assiya’s colleague. Bahar is unhappy after Mert neglects her while Deria lives a lonely life. The three of them know Volkan’s secret about his infidelity and cover for him, which infuriates Asiya when she finds out and brings her into conflict with all three. Assiya, in her attempt to take revenge on them, devises a bold and extremely dangerous plan.

Nazli Bulum (Nil) Emir Taro Tekin (Seljuk)

Neal is an unhappy girl who is in a toxic relationship and is systematically abused by her cheating boyfriend Seljuk. When he meets Asiya, the two ally themselves against their comrades. Ashiya becomes Neil’s guardian angel and protects her from Seljuk while Neil becomes Ashiya’s informant to learn about Volkan’s suspicious movements. When Neal, with Asiya’s help, divorces Seljuk, the latter becomes Volkan’s minion, watches Asiya and reaches extremes.

Gözde Seda Altuner (Gönul) Burak Sergen (Haluk)

Gyonul and Haluk are Derin’s parents. Overprotective of their daughter but also of their youngest son, Demir. Gönul interferes in her daughter’s life and “guides” her in her relationship and later in her marriage with Volkan, while Haluk believes that with the power given to him by his money and the prestige from his term as mayor, he can move the threads on Deryn’s family and Volkan’s finances.

Alp Akar

The son of Assiya and Volcan. He has a very good relationship with both of his parents and is caught in the middle when his father’s relationship with Deryn comes to light. He cannot handle his parents’ divorce and often clashes with them, trying to balance his feelings for them.

Kenan Ece (Turgai)

A doctor – a psychiatrist who works in the same hospital as Assiya. In Asiya’s difficult moments, Turgai stands by her side like a true friend while also helping Ali. His true feelings for Asiya run deeper than mere friendship, and Volkan sees him as an adversary, which puts the two men at odds.

Olcay Yusufoğlu (Serap)

Volkan’s assistant, who unwittingly gives valuable information to Assiya about her employer’s extramarital affair. Her daughter, Selene, is Ali’s classmate and very good friend.

What we will see in the first episode on Monday, July 11

Asiya is a dynamic and successful doctor, living a happy family life with her husband, Volkan, and their son, Ali. No cloud overshadows their happiness and Asiya is sure that their love is so strong that it will last forever. But soon everything will turn upside down and the life of the family will change completely. It all begins when Asiya discovers a long blonde hair in her husband’s scarf, which does not belong to her. The first suspicions make their appearance and Asiya is not going to rest until she finds out what is going on! In order to learn the truth, he will use every method and enlist every possible source of help. The evidence is not long in coming and Assiya’s world is falling apart. But she must remain strong until she decides her next step.
