“I still haven’t had time to assimilate everything that has happened.” The sentence is from professor Jessilane Alves, 26, who tells how her life has changed after leaving the 22nd edition of Big Brother Brasil (Globo). After the show ended, Jessi took a step back from the classroom to work on advertising projects, but she doesn’t rule out returning in the future.
The former BBB, who has more than 1.8 million followers on her Instagram, says she intends to use her reach to talk about education. “I’m no longer in the ‘vibe’ of publicizing everything I’m going to do, but my main objective is to bring education and change a little of the classroom routine to this advertising universe.”
She states that she has not given up on conventional classrooms, however, she does not intend to return until she has greater financial stability. “The salary [de professora] it doesn’t pay for everything we do”, he says. “I want to get to a point in my life when I say: ‘I’m teaching for love’. [Quero] come back to the room even if it’s not for the salary.”
Jessi says she doesn’t want to see this change just in her life, so she decided to move to São Paulo with her entire family. She arrived in São Paulo in May, and before that, she lived in ValparaÃso de Goiás (GO). “I brought my mother, sister, brother-in-law and even the dogs. We are in that madness of a big family living together”, she says.
During the conversation with the F5, carried out during São João da Thay, in São LuÃs, Maranhão, the teacher still jokes about her love life after the reality show, which she doesn’t have high expectations for. “I’m full of problems and I’m terrible at relating. Of course, I occasionally kiss here and there, but without any pretense.”
