The winner of Survivor, who won the prize of 100,000 euros, was emotional when speaking on his show “Love it” about his decision to allocate a large part of the money to children suffering from cancer.
His first televised interview after being crowned “Survivor” for 2022 was granted by Stathis Schizas.
The winner of the reality show, who won the prize of 100,000 euros, was emotional when speaking on his show “Love it” about his decision to allocate a large part of the money to children suffering from cancer.
As he confessed, a big role in his decision was played by the visit to a hospital department where chemotherapy was given to children: “I was in Agia Savva for my mother’s chemotherapy. I accidentally went out to the 6th floor where chemotherapy treatments were being given to children. I saw the children suffering. I would see parents go into their rooms happily, carrying bags of toys, and come out crying. These kids they are real heroes, we are simple reality players. They need our support. That’s why I want to help them.”
He also made it clear that he did not want to make this wish known before winning the prize, nor to exploit it for publicity purposes. “I said that if I conquer it, I will say it in front of the world,” he emphasized
The 30-year-old businessman said he is dedicating the award to his young daughter who, he revealed, was constantly emailing him while he was at the game.
He emphasized that he is still struggling to realize his success: “I still haven’t believed it. It’s a huge feeling. As soon as I got out I was very anxious, I had a culture shock. Shocking the love of the world, which was the real prize”.
He said the following about his relationship with Aris Souledis: “We had not gotten close but without a specific reason. We had fair competition in the races although there were some small fights.”
He explained that he didn’t like to get into arguments with his teammates while he said that some saw the game as a war: “I came in to have fun. I didn’t take part in fights because they didn’t concern me. It is a game although for some it has become a war. I didn’t want to be on the reality show game. I didn’t want them to say “Stathis who fights”.
As for Spyros Martikas, he emphasized that he was mocking him at the beginning when he met him, but then he bonded with him and characteristically said that he “respects his pants”.
