Elon Musk has responded on his Twitter account after Business Insider reported that he had twins with a top executive shortly before his daughter with Grimes was born. The Tesla tycoon appears to have… quietly raised his family with Shivon Zilis in November 2021.
“I do what I can to help with subfertility. Declining birthrates are by far the greatest danger facing humanity“, He wrote. In fact, he added other comments in his subsequent “tweets”, writing:Take my words, they are unfortunately true and I hope you have big families and congratulations to those who already have».

According to court documents, the twins were born in Austin, Texas. The documents reveal that in April, Mr Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis, who is a project manager at his company Neuralink, asked a Texas district court to change their babies’ names so that they “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name.”
As “Business Insider” writes, the twins were born just a few weeks before Elon Musk and Claire Bouchet, known as Grimes, welcomed their second child, a girl, via surrogate in December 2021. Musk’s children with Grimes joins his five other children: Griffin, Vivian Jenna, Kai, Saxon and Damian. Musk, who is currently dating actress Natasha Bassett, shares his children with ex-wife Justine Wilson. After marrying in January 2000, he and the Canadian author welcomed their son, Nevada Alexander, in 2002. Nevada tragically died of sudden infant death syndrome at just 10 weeks old.
The powerful man spoke about the issue of paternity and his views on the matter in an interview with the “New York Times” in 2020. Musk doesn’t often discuss his own family, but at the Wall Street Journal’s annual Board of Directors in December 2021 he had said about the issue of births:I think one of the greatest dangers to humanity is the low birth rate and its rapid decline. Please look at the numbers. If people don’t have more children, civilization – humanity – will collapse, mark my words».
