A child star of Globo in the 1980s, when she participated in children’s specials such as “A Arca de Noé”, “Pirlimpimpim” and “Plunct, Plact, Zuuum”, Aretha Marcos, 48, is experiencing financial difficulties. She has been out of work since before the pandemic and, this Friday (8), she took to social media to ask her 32,000 Instagram followers for help. “I haven’t eaten since yesterday,” revealed Aretha.
Actress and singer, she is the daughter of singer Vanusa, who died in November 2020, as a result of her marriage to singer Antônio Marcos. She is the sister of actress Paloma Duarte (on her father’s side) and businessman of country singers Rafael Vannucci.
Aretha took the opportunity to criticize colleagues who, despite following the difficulties they are going through, do not offer help. She also hints that she is the target of gossip and nitpicking. “Could any of the artists who play, defend, protect and benefit from the game that exploits my private life, could at least deposit money for a coffee?” posted her, sharing her bank account details.
The former child actress followed up with the appeal and a threat: “Since artists and company like to have fun watching me lose my apartment, job, food, money, friends and family, let’s disclose the names and stars of cruelty. in the documentary we are preparing for you”, he says, without going into details about the production. This is not the first time Aretha has asked for money online. In 2020, she made a virtual crowdfunding to buy a house worth R$ 150 thousand in Piracaia, in the interior of São Paulo, but only raised R$ 5 thousand.
“I haven’t worked since 2012. My children’s connection with me was totally weakened, due to the fact that the mother was not financially able to relate to her children. I’ve moved five times, looking for a place where I can work, recover my health and my psychic. Now, I want to have a house of my own”, said Aretha.
