Back in the distant 2014 a fan of the actress broke into her house.
THE Sandra Bullock she talked about the scariest night of her life, when her privacy was threatened and more. She herself came face to face with her admirer in the distant 2014, specifically June 8, 2014 when someone who admired her tried to break into her house in the middle of the night to deliver a love letter he had written for her.
As she describes, the whole experience was her worst nightmare which she cannot forget to this day.
She was alone in her house and it was past twelve midnight when she suddenly started hearing strange noises and got up to check what was going on. She walked towards the hallway of her house when she suddenly saw in front of her a man dressed in black standing in front of her and looking at her. She immediately ran to her bedroom, locked the door behind her and hid in the closet while also calling the police.
It was about one 39 year old man who broke into the house of the famous actress, jumped over the fence and entered the house through the side entrance.
The police arrived in less than 10 minutes with three patrol cars and managed to stop the unknown man and arrest him.
The man shouted to the actress that he loved her and in fact in the letter he wanted to deliver to her he referred to the actress as his wife and to her 12-year-old son as his own child. At the same time, the letter also read the following:
“You could have had me today, yet you choose other people than me. I’ll be around as you know. I love you. You are very special to me and without you in my life there is only misery. I’ve been waiting so long for you to come to me, maybe all this should probably happen in a different way. Maybe in Hawaii or randomly while working out on the street who knows. I have no idea. I love you and Louie and I just want to be a part of your life. I miss you so much and think about you every moment, every day. You are my girl! I saw you coming home after the AFI gala and I wished I was at the entrance of your heart when you were coming home.”
The man named Joshua was given a five-year suspended sentence for 26 felony charges while Sandra Bullock was given a 10-year protective order, which didn’t help much as she underwent treatment for PTSD.
Finally, the man who broke into her home committed suicide in 2018 due to serious psychological problems he was facing.
