Anitta’s memes go viral after singer declares vote for Lula

Anitta, 29, published a post on Twitter revealing that she will vote for former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), 76, in the October election, this Monday afternoon (11). It didn’t take long for the singer’s publication to go viral on social media. Internet users created memes and even rescued an old video of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) praising the singer.

A user on the social network shared a montage of the singer wearing a red outfit with the PT star next to a younger Lula holding the party flag. “Anitta supporting Lula in the 2022 elections, I asked yes!”, wrote the person who shared the montage.

The singer also turned a version of former president Dilma Rousseff (PT) with short hair and the presidential sash in another meme posted on Twitter. “Anita today,” wrote the author of the publication. Another internet user rescued an old video of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) praising the singer and saying that she rose in life on her own merits. “This is Flávio Bolsonaro praising Anitta when he thought she was bolsomina,” wrote the person who shared the video.

In another post, a Twitter user posted a video of a young woman wearing a red T-shirt with the PT star and holding the party flag. She argues with an elderly relative saying that she discovered the whole truth, that everything was a coup against Dilminha and that Lula is the father of Brazil. The old woman hits the young woman on the arm and says she won’t become a PT member. “Anitta is like this now that she has shown support for Lula”, compared the author of the post.

Netizens who believe in Lula’s victory shared memes of the presidential candidate next to Anitta with other singers wearing red clothes with the PT star ready to make the inauguration show. “I want a show by Luísa Sonza, Anitta and Pabllo Vittar on Lula’s inauguration day. PT Brasil reacts”, wrote the internet user.

A PT candidate for governor of Bahia shared a photo of Anitta in front of a bus as in the video for the single “Girl From Rio”. Instead of the name of the song and the singer in the collective, “Lula pelo Brasil” was added. “Did you think she wasn’t going to board this bus? Welcome to Lula’s Team, Anitta!”, wrote the person in the publication.
