Tom Brady Says His Wealth Is Greater Difficulty Raising Children

by

Football player Tom Brady, 44, said his wealth and that of his wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, 41, is the “most difficult thing” to deal with in raising their children. He made the claim on Spotify’s original Drive podcast.

“We have people who clean for us. We have people who cook our food. We have people who take us to the airport if we need to. We get off a plane and there are people waiting for us and we are ushered inside,” reproduced by the Page Six website.

He and the Brazilian model are parents to Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. He is also the father of John Jack, 14, from his relationship with Bridget Moynahan. “That’s my kids’ reality, which is the hard part of saying, ‘Guys, this isn’t how reality really is. What can we do about it?’

Brady, whose net worth is estimated at $250 million by the website Celebrity Net Worth (about R$1.3 billion), adds that his and Bündchen’s humble beginnings made them both understand the privilege.

“My wife grew up in the interior of Brazil, the southernmost state, Rio Grande do Sul, a small agricultural town, a very simple girl,” he said. “There were two bedrooms in her house – one for her parents and one for her and her five sisters.”

“I grew up in a middle-class family in California. My father worked hard for our family,” he continued. “My mom stayed home and took care of us kids, and I watched my mom work every day to cook us food at night and wash our clothes.”
