We finally have our hands on a big teaser for Rings of Power. The Lord of the Rings series that will take us into the 2nd era of Middle-earth premieres on September 2nd on Prime Video and this is the first time we see both dialogue and the size of the huge production.
All the creatures of Tolkien’s world pass before our screens, with the burden falling on Galadriel who insists that evil is just around the corner. And where “evil” we put Sauron.
There is even an impressive destruction shot that we are waiting to see in its full form since it looks shocking.
The official Rings of Power synopsis:
The series brings to the screen for the first time the heroic legends of the mythical 2nd era of Middle-Earth. Set thousands of years before JRR Tolkien’s books, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, it will transport viewers back to a time when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose in power and fell, unexpected heroes passed trials, hope hung by a thread and the greatest villain created by Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover the entire world with darkness.
Beginning in a time of peace, the series follows a group of characters, both familiar and new, as they face the return of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests in the elven capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor and the most remote parts of the map, these characters will make the stories that live long after them.
