Claudia Leitte says she complies with health standards on show and cites ‘selective criticism’

After the name of the singer Claudia Leitte, 41, was among the most talked about subjects on Twitter in Brazil after the presentation of the electric trio Blow Out, the singer’s team stated that the event was held in compliance with all health standards imposed by the State Government from Sao Paulo.

“It was only possible to enter the site by proving that Covid-19 had been fully vaccinated and, in addition, the event was held with a reduced capacity, with only 3 thousand people”, says the official note. The event took place at the Espaço das Américas parking lot, this Saturday (27).

“It is worth mentioning that, like Claudia’s show, many others have been taking place in Brazil and have not been criticized or put in check in relation to public health care. And not only concerts, but also rodeos and football stadiums”, complete.

“Claudia is a responsible artist and aware of her role, she would never make an event without the authorization of Organs assigned bodies and without the necessary care. It’s just enough to reflect on these selective criticisms and attacks, totally inconceivable and disrespectful to the artist.”

So far, the singer has not published any publication on the subject on her social networks. The artist’s name reached the most talked about topics on Twitter in Brazil with the hashtag #ClaudiaLeitteGenocida. The singer’s Instagram informed this Saturday (27) that the show would respect the precautions to contain the proliferation of Covid-19.

“Event held with limited audience, requirement of proof of vaccine and other health requirements established by the health department of São Paulo”, said the publication with a photo of Leitte ready to join the trio.

The images of the singer’s block, however, contrasted with the information, as it was possible to see a large agglomeration formed by people without masks, which is not allowed in the capital of São Paulo. The forecast is that the population can give up the item in open environments only from December 11th.

Among the praise from famous people such as Giovanna Antonelli, Susana Vieira and Fabiana Karla, criticism from Internet users began to emerge. “Hey, I thought we were still in a pandemic,” one wrote. “First a masked Stories behind the scenes, then finally agglomerate the hypocrisy,” said another.

On Twitter, comments condemning the singer’s attitude gained momentum. “Can Claudia Leitte’s concert yesterday in SP be considered a milestone in the return to normality? Or, for churches and schools, do distancing and masks continue?”, asked one.

Another internet user questioned the selectivity of the attacks. “The tag ‘Claudia Leitte Genocida” in trends, but I didn’t see anyone raising this tag to attack other singers who are already doing several shows with mega crowds, a lot of males doing it and nobody says anything! Stop being hypocrites, you m.”
