21-year-old Denis Yadiel Sanchez, his sister’s son, claims he had an affair with his uncle
Ricky Martin denies allegations of incest, mental and physical abuse, allegedly filed by his 21-year-old nephew. Two weeks ago it was revealed that a judge in Puerto Rico had issued a domestic violence restraining order against the singer.
The name of the alleged victim was not previously released. However, according to the Spanish publication “Marca”, Ricky Martin’s brother Eric claimed that the victim is 21-year-old Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, the singer’s nephew.

Under Puerto Rico’s laws on incest charges, the sentence 50-year-old Martin could face is quite severe. The world-famous singer could be in prison for five decades if the shocking allegations are true, as the New York Post writes. The report said the complaint was made anonymously under Act 54, known as the Domestic Abuse Prevention and Intervention Act.
Martin’s lawyer, Marty Singerstated: “Unfortunately, the person who made this complaint is experiencing mental health issues. Ricky Martin, of course, never had and never would have any sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew».
Earlier this month, the singer was sued for $3 million by his former manager, Rebecca Druckerand legal documents say it “protected” the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer from a “career-ending claim.”
Martin, who released a six-song EP titled “Play” on Wednesday, denied the allegations in a July 4 Twitter post, writing: “The protection order issued against me is based on completely false allegations, so I will respond through the legal process with facts and dignity. As this is an ongoing legal matter, I cannot make any detailed statements at this time. I am grateful for the countless messages of solidarity and I take them with all my heart».
