The 76-year-old star has a falling out with the producer of the film series and says he is disappointed that he has no right to manage them
Open confrontation with producer Irwin Winkler over control of his rights “Rocky” started the star of the hit movie series Sylvester Stallone.
The 76-year-old protagonist appeared particularly irritated on social media, as he considers himself broken and expects justice for the very big success, in which he embodied a penniless Italian boxer, who started from… nothing and became world heavyweight champion.
Stallone wrote in exasperation that he was the main protagonist and yet, he has no right to the management – and of course the income – of the films.
The films grossed over two billion dollars worldwide, earning a total of nine Oscar.
The Hollywood superstar was so annoyed, he posted the following posts, where he portrays the Rocky cast as… blood-drinking vampires and references Rocky Horror Show:
