36-year-old actress suffered two brain aneurysms in two years – Miracle she’s alive and well after
We remember her in a completely dynamic role, a young talented woman, conquering the big screen as “Kalissy” in the huge hit Game Of Thrones. But luck had a bad game in store for her. THE Emilia Clarke he had two brain aneurysms within a span of just two years.
The 26-year-old actress opened up about her role in Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull at the Harold Pinter Theater in an interview with the BBC and Sunday Morning. She spoke about her health adventure, which goes beyond all logic and proved that her character was not only made of iron in the hit series, but also – much more – in the real world.
As the actress revealed, she lost “quite a large part” of her brain after the double aneurysm. “It was the most excruciating pain,” Clark said, noting that “it was tremendously helpful to have the Game of Thrones and give me a motivation.”
Clark spoke for the first time about her adventure with the aneurysm in 2019, while she confirms that she is now much better.
As the 36-year-old explained, “there’s so much of my brain that it’s no longer useful – it’s admirable that I can speak and live my life completely normally, with absolutely no repercussions. I’m in the very, very, very small minority of people who can survive this.”
Apparently, Clark learned to live with it: “I thought, ‘Well, this is you. That’s the brain you have.” So you don’t have to worry about what might not be there.”
