Funk singer MC Poze do Rodo, 23, went viral on social media after releasing the music video for the song “Metflex” this Wednesday (20th). In the film, he wakes up to find that his wife has abandoned him and sings that he will miss doing “Metflix on the couch”, while a couple appears and a TV in the background with a brand very similar to that of the streaming giant Netflix.
The name of the song caught the attention of netizens and Netflix, who shared questions without understanding why the word Metflix is on Twitter’s trending topics Brazil. Users of the social network responded to the streaming and posted memes. “When I call the cat to watch here at home I use that name”, commented a Twitter user.
Netflix Brasil joined in the fun and began to respond by interacting with internet users on the network. “That’s why when I ask who is watching, no one answers me”, replied the profile of the streaming giant.

Another user of the social network tagged the streaming platform and asked: “Could you tell me what this is, lady Netflix Brazil? Look at the time.” The stream wrote: “I’m asking you guys.” But another netizen commented: “Oh, that’s all, madam will play the misunderstanding now.”
Shopee Brasil’s profile also joined in the fun. “Friend of heaven!!! Sometimes I drop coupons around here and some shopeelovers take a long time to redeem, is it for the same reason?”, commented the company. One netizen wrote: “If it’s not Metflix it’s Shupee.”
