“I tried hundreds of times to contact Corina (Schumacher’s wife) and she didn’t answer. I did not expect such behavior and I am still angry about it. Let them say things as they are,” said Willie Weber characteristically
He accuses his family of lying Michael Schumacherthe legendary F1 driver manager Willie Weber.
According to the now 80-year-old Weber, Schumacher’s family has cut him off from any contact with him since his serious skiing accident in 2013 left him in a coma.
Schumacher’s former manager said he has not seen his former client since, speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Willy Weber, the legendary manager of Michael Schumacher, who is now 80, claims the former Formula 1 driver’s family cut him out of Schumacher’s life after his skiing accident.
“I tried hundreds of times to contact Corina (Schumacher’s wife) and she didn’t answer. I called Jean Todt to ask if I should go to the hospital and he told me to wait, it’s too early,” said Weber.
He continued: “I called the next day and no one answered. I did not expect such behavior and I am still angry about it. It’s been nine years. Maybe they should tell it like it is.”
It is noted that almost a decade after the serious accident there has been no official statement about the health of the driver, only leaks of information or statements from close friends.
“I could understand the situation at first, as I always did everything I could for Michael to protect his privacy,” Weber added.
“But since then we have heard nothing but lies from them. Years after the accident, I told myself to just take care of the family since I couldn’t change things. He was like a son to me. Even today it hurts me to talk about it,” he concluded.
