British star Elton John thrilled his fans in New Zealand and Australia after revealing he will be around in January 2023 by posting a video on Instagram and announcing: “Hello Australia, “Kia Ora” New Zealand! I am so excited to share with you my last concerts of the “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, in January 2023“, he said in the video.
“I can’t believe it’s been three whole years since we last met, a huge thank you to Auckland County for holding onto the tickets for the rescheduled shows for so long».
The singer-songwriter’s show is a look back at his 50-year music career, including a series of never-before-seen photos and videos to celebrate his craft.
“I promised in 2020 that when we come back we will organize some more concerts. I know the last few tickets sold out fast and I want to be able to say goodbye to you all! ….Join me for an evening full of memories, songs and a fond farewell…».
