The singer Marília Mendonça, eternal Queen of Sofrência, would turn 27 this Friday (22). The artist died on November 5, 2021, being one of five victims of a plane crash, which occurred in the interior of Minas Gerais.
To mark the date, several fans and netizens showed affection and longing for the artist. Marília’s name and the phrase “Happy Birthday Queen” were among the most talked about topics on Twitter, among tributes from famous and anonymous people.
“Happy birthday Queen. Miss you the most of all times. We love you so much”, wrote digital influencer Álvaro. “It wasn’t supposed to be like this, nostalgia has never lived with me for so long,” said a page of Marília’s fans. Luísa Sonza shared a photo with the singer in Stories and wrote “I love you” as a caption.
Singer Murilo Huff, father of the artist’s son, also paid tribute to his ex-girlfriend. “Today is going to be a little more difficult than the others… for those of us who are here dying of homesickness, because in heaven I know the party is going to be big!”, she said.
The country duo Matheus and Kauan also showed their affection for their friend. “There was definitely going to be a party. It was an honor to have met this wonderful woman who only brought good things to the lives of people around her”, they wrote on the duo’s official Instagram profile.
