Netflix continues to amaze us with the choices it makes to bring well-known books to the screen. One of the most beloved writers of thrillers and mysteries, Harlan Coben, belongs to these choices. Following in the footsteps of The Stranger is his book Stay Close, which is expected to hit Netflix on December 31.
In Stay Close, the heroes are confronted with the secrets of the past
In history, three people live lives they never really wanted. Megan is a working mother with 3 children, a wonderful husband and a dream home. Ray, once a great documentary photographer, now works as a paparazzi celebrity. Finally, Broome is a detective who can not get away with anything from an old case.
What connects these three people is their seemingly good lives. They all hide secrets that even the people closest to them could not even guess. And when the past comes in the strange way of making its presence felt, they are suddenly in a dilemma. Do they want to go back to their previous lives or will they just continue like that because they were comfortable?

However, this is going to change in the order that will be filmed in the UK. Harlan Coben is once again in the producer’s chair and is known to have closely followed the creation of the series. In fact, Richard Armitage, after his role in The Stranger, returns to this series and plays Ray. The other two main characters will be James Nesbitt and Cash Jumbo. Since we already know that on every page you turn in the books of Harlan Coben you will find a surprise, something similar is expected to happen with the 8 episodes of the new series.
