“BBQ STORIES” – SKAI: They continue their journey to Crete

The last bbq story of the season will be written on Sunday, July 31 in beautiful Rethymnon. After Chania, Alexandros Papandreou loads his grill and travels to the prefecture of Rethymno.

Rethymnon is a combination of wonderful nature, kind-hearted people and delicious food. Alexandros visits a snail farm in Latzima, and after learning all the secrets, he cooks “Snail Burbourists” and “Snail Straws Wrapped in Vine Leaves”.

The next morning he finds Alexander preparing for his team a delicious breakfast of “Roasted ham with brown bread, sour cream and egg”. Then, he has an ascent to Psiloritis, where in a mitato, he watches the whole process for the genuine oftus meat, or antikristo.

The trip to Crete was a revelation for Alexander and the bbq stories completed the season with authentic food prepared and eaten in the company of hospitable people.
