On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the sad anniversary of the Asia Minor Disasterthe Holy Metropolis of Nea Ionia, Philadelphia, Heraklion and Chalkidon honors its roots in the Herodes of Atticus Conservatory with an anniversary music and dance event with the title: “I return to my place with dancing steps”.

The cohesive link of all the actions on stage will be the beloved Karagiozis, a figure of Asia Minor culture, who, with the voice of the wonderful Ilias Karellas, will present, comment and direct the action of the show through specially written texts for the occasion.
Pontos, Cappadocia, Smyrna and Polis will be the stations of Karagiozis, who will laugh while crying and cry while laughing in a festival of colors from traditional costumes, texts from theatrical performances, dances and songs, which will be united by the complaint of the person who is lost , but he succeeds in his new homeland, not only to stand, but to graft it with culture and change it.
The event is under the auspices of S.A. of the President of the Republic Mrs. Katerina Sakellaropoulou, is organized in collaboration with the Municipalities of Ionia Prefecture, Philadelphia Prefecture-N.
