Carlinhos Maia, 30, does not hide that he is still traumatized by the millionaire robbery he suffered in his apartment in Maceió, at the end of May. But, after so much reluctance, he decided to return to live there. The youtuber told the news to his followers this Wednesday (10) and made an appeal not to be the target of the thieves again: “Don’t steal from me anymore”.

The robbery at the luxury property located on Cruz das Almas beach took place when Carlinhos Maia was in Sergipe to undergo plastic surgery, while her husband, Lucas Guimarães, was traveling to Cancún, Mexico for work. The two had a loss estimated at about R$ 5 million between cash and personal objects such as jewelry and watches.

“Crazy feeling. It seems that nothing happened, everything is as it was left,” began Carlinhos in the video showing the apartment. “I mean, not everything! But oddly enough, I’m not feeling any negative energy. On the contrary, I’m feeling blessing as I always was”, said the comedian in his Instagram stories.

Soon after the robbery, the Alagoas police arrested three suspects, who were identified as specialists in committing crimes in luxury apartments in the northeastern capitals. In a recent interview with PocCast, Lucas Guimarães, 28, revealed that he and Carlinhos Maia still suspect that it was a close person who planned the robbery.

The reason, according to him, was that few knew about the existence of the safe in the apartment. Not even Carlinhos and Lucas’ best friends were aware of the location of the luxury items. “What disappoints me the most is that it was someone from our midst. Someone who knew of our intimacy and lived with us”, commented the influencer at the time.
