Daughter of Juliano Cazarré returns to the ICU for catheterization and stent placement

The daughter of actor Juliano Cazarré, Maria Guilhermina, who is just over a month old, had to return to the hospital and be admitted to the ICU at dawn on Saturday (13) to undergo a catheterization procedure and place a stent in her heart. She had already been hospitalized and was discharged earlier this month, but her oxygen saturation worsened.

The news was given by the actor’s wife, Leticia Cazarré, in a post on Instagram. “Yesterday our little Maria Guilhermina came back to the ICU unexpectedly. She was fine, but the saturation dropped, it started to fluctuate and our (super!) doctors turned on the yellow light and preferred to hospitalize to take care of her closely. Thank God, because she he really needed a catheterization and a stent, but now he is doing very well!”

“After a sleepless night and a day of great affection for her to endure many hours of fasting, intubation, procedure and extubation, now we both just want to be together and sleep…”, he concluded.

Maria Guilhermina was born with Ebstein’s Anomaly, a rare congenital heart disease, and underwent surgery shortly after birth, on June 21. She was hospitalized until August 1st, when she was discharged and was able to go home with her parents.
