Brad Pitt threw beer at Angelina Jolie during fight on plane, says website

Brad Pitt, 58, allegedly threw beer at Angelina Jolie, 47, during a fight that took place on a plane in 2016, in which the actress said her then-husband assaulted her and her children. The information is from the American website Puck, based on official documents about the case.

The names of the parties were preserved in the process, which had already been made public. The investigation was conducted using aliases such as “Jane Doe” (name used when the real thing is unknown), although it was already speculated that it could be Jolie due to coincidences with the report she made at the time.

According to the publication, the actress told an FBI agent (the US federal police) that her husband was drinking when he pulled her to the back of the plane, grabbed her by the shoulders, shook her and yelled: “You’re fucking this family!”.

After that, during the flight, the two would have had another argument, in which Jolie said she was injured. She gave the police a photo of her injured elbow to support the charge. Later, the actor reportedly threw beer at her. Pitt denied the allegations.

The story became public because, in April, Politico drew attention to a judge’s decision that refused a lawsuit asking the FBI to hand over documents relating to the allegation she had made to an anonymous woman. The details and importance of the lawyer involved have already raised suspicions that it could be the case for Jolie and Pitt.

On August 9, the actress filed an appeal after discovering that the FBI had even prepared a warrant and presented it to US federal justice. By mutual agreement, according to official documents, both decided not to indict the actor.

Jolie, who filed for divorce the day after the incident, said she only discovered this from the judge’s response, which denied her action to retrieve the case records. On her appeal, she insists on having access to the evidence left with the FBI.
