Friends and celebrities of Claudia Jimenez attended the actress’s wake in the early afternoon of this Saturday (20). The ceremony takes place at the Carmo Memorial, in Caju, Rio de Janeiro’s Port Zone, the same place where the actress’ body will be cremated. Director and actor Miguel Falabella was one of the first to arrive and greet his former partner, Stella Torreão. Actors Paulo Vilhena, Victor Fasano and Anna Lima, and singer Ana Carolina also went to say goodbye to Claudia.

Very emotional, the personal trainer won hugs from friends and family. Earlier, Stella published a tribute to the actress on Instagram. “Claudia, love of my life, I would do it all over again! You did so much more for me. Where are we, my love?”, she wrote in the caption of the post with photos of the two.

Several co-workers paid tribute in the networks to Claudia Jimenez, who died of heart failure at the age of 63 after a few days admitted to Hospital Samaritano, in Botafogo, in the South Zone. In 1986, Claudia went to the doctor to cure a persistent cough and discovered that she had cancer, a malignant tumor in the mediastinum, in the chest region. According to medical evaluations, the radiotherapy sessions affected the tissues of the heart, which forced her to have at least three surgeries in the following years.

Marisa Orth called Claudia “the best comedian ever”. “She was the best. The funniest. A very serious person, committed, they would never imagine that inside that spectacular debauchery there still lived a girl, very sensitive and profound. Claudinha became a beautiful friend, muse of my life in comedy”, wrote the actress with who shared scenes in ‘Sai de Baixo’.

Presenter Serginho Groisman also lamented the loss of his friend: “A good part of Claudia Jimenez’s life was fighting the illnesses she had. But at no time did she stop having joy. Rest now.” Actress and presenter Tata Werneck also paid tribute: “Dear friend. A reference comedian for anyone who dreams of working with humor. You are a genius. And when we made a soap opera together, we became friends. You became a confidant. You gave me your lap. Advice I fell in love with you,” she said. Tatá and Claudia worked on ‘Haja Coração’, in 2016, and it was the comedian’s last work.

Rodrigo Phavanello, Claudia’s ex-boyfriend, admitted to being devastated by the death of the actress. “Fatty, you came to this Earth and became one of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever met! You wonderfully fulfilled your mission bringing your joy and making us laugh. Rest in peace, my Anja”, wrote the actor. He met Claudia in 2007 backstage at the soap opera “Sete Pecados” and the two dated from April to October 2008.
