Jade Picon, 20, is already shooting scenes for her character Chiara in Globo’s upcoming soap opera, “Travessia”, but she still hasn’t swallowed the criticism she received when she was announced in the cast of Glória Perez’s plot. The former BBB, who is not an actress by training and needed an authorization to work in the production of the Sindicato dos Artistas do Rio (Sated-RJ) sent a message to those who did not believe in her talent.

Recently, Jade admitted that she felt the blow from the criticism, but the support of the cast and her willpower were important for her to stand her ground.
“I already expected hate. It’s not something comfortable to read, but it won’t make me give up either. Acting is a dream come true”, said the young woman in an interview for the Brazilian version of the American magazine Harper’s Bazaar.
At the beginning of May, Sated-RJ received thousands of calls from affiliates and non-affiliates from all over Brazil asking for clarification and even demanding a position from the entity against the casting of Jade Picon in the soap opera. At the time, the president of the entity Hugo Gross assured that she would not work on “Travessia”.
