Ludmilla reveals that she refused Rihanna’s marijuana cigarette: ‘Missed opportunity’

Ludmilla, 27, revealed a curious story that she lived alongside Rihanna, 34. According to the Brazilian, she refused a marijuana cigarette offered by her American colleague during a party that took place after a parade in Paris, in which both coincided.

“At Rihanna’s after, we were all there, and she lit a beck,” he recalled during his appearance on PodPah. “When it came to me, I said, ‘No, I don’t smoke.’ Look at the opportunity I missed thinking about what others would think of me. I never want to do that again in my life.”

The funk singer admitted that the refusal was because there were Brazilians, such as blogger Hugo Gloss, at the event. “At that time I was very incubated, I was afraid of everything”, she lamented. “They put me in the media like that, and I was afraid to be me.”

According to her, the invitation to the party came from a producer, who said that Rihanna had recognized her from a dinner in which the two had participated. “He said, ‘I’ll take you over there so Rihanna can meet you, she loves her music,'” she recalled.

Ludmilla said she didn’t speak English and used an automatic translator to communicate. “She remembered me, she started talking to me,” she surprised herself. “I couldn’t speak English at that time, I was kind of looking at her face, and she was waiting for me to answer.”
