OR United Artists her Amazon MGM Studios and the accomplished producer Scott Stuber (Scott Stuber) secured the rights to the film project after a tough bidding process Lizard Music.
The superstar Dwayne Johnson (Dwayne Johnson) will take the lead role, while the famous creator Benny Safdie (Benny Safdie) will direct and write the screenplay based on his children’s book of the same name Daniel Pinkwater (Daniel Pinkwater) of 1976.
The director’s new collaboration with Dwayne Johnson follows the biographical drama “The Smashing Machine”, where the actor played the legendary MMA fighter, Mark Kerr.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Dwayne and Benny on several projects and have seen firsthand their incredible talents and connection as artists,” the famed producer told Deadline.
“The world they’ve created together for ‘Lizard Music’ is unlike anything they’ve done before. We are very excited to bring this wonderful, imaginative story to life,” he added.
The film will follow the story of a lonely boy who discovers a secret late-night television show featuring lizards playing eerie music. This discovery opens a hidden door to the unusual and unreal.
“His search for answers leads him to the eccentric and quirky 70-year-old Chicken Man and his beloved companion, a 111-year-old chicken named Claudia. United by this shared vision, they embark on an adventure that begins as a search for a secret society, but evolves into a journey into unseen worlds.”
