‘Under Pressure’ actor says he has been sexually abused: ‘Victim is not to blame’

Actor David Junior, 36, known for his role as Doctor Mauro in the series “Under Pressure” (Globo), claimed to have been a victim of sexual abuse through his profile on Instagram. “I’ve been sexually abused,” he wrote in the publication’s caption.

Junior shared an article from Sheet, in which data on sexual violence and aggression against men are released. Research carried out by the newspaper shows that 2 out of 10 men have been abused when they were minors.

“Speak men, the victim is not to blame for being sexually abused. Super important matter that deserves reading and reflection”, he added, in the publication made on Sunday night (28). In the comments, celebrities and anonymous fans showed support for the artist.
