In the Rehearsal Hall of the Thessaloniki Music Hall the auditions for young musicians who wish to join the Youth Symphony Orchestra of O.M.M.Th begin on Thursday, September 1, 2022.
MOYSA is the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Music Hall. It was created with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation as part of the Creative Europe program. It is aimed at musicians aged 8 to 25 from various regions of Northern Greece.
The process will last four days and will end on Sunday 04 September.
The auditions will take place on the 3rd and 5th floors of the M1 building, from 10 am and the selection of the new members of MOYSA will be made by a specialized jury headed by the Organization’s artistic director Christos Galilea.
The hearings program in detail:
-Thursday 1/9 (Rehearsal Room): 10:00-17:30 violins, 15:00-18:40 Woodwinds
-Friday 2/9 (Rehearsal Room): 10:00-17:10 violins and violas
-Saturday 3/9 (Rehearsal Room): 10:00-13:40 cello and bass, 15:00-16:30 harps and percussion
-Sunday 4/9 (Testing Room): 10:00-12:10 bronze.
The names of the musicians who will join MOYSA will be announced on the website of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall at the online address: www.tch.gr.
