The mother-of-six admitted she couldn’t express herself as an artist while married to Guy Ritchie

The ‘unbridled’… Madonna answered 50 questions from her fans about her upcoming album, career, guilty pleasures and biggest regrets. In a new video, uploaded to her YouTube channel, the 64-year-old pop star was disarmingly honest when asked if she has any regrets in her life and what they are.

“To marry. Both times!” said the singer, referring to her previous marriages to Sean Penn, from 1985 to 1989, and Guy Ritchie, from 2000 to 2008.

When asked how she continues to find inspiration in a world that’s so different from where she started, the performer said that “if you’re a curious person and you pay attention to life you’ll never stop being inspired.”

During the interview, the star had other revelations for her audience. Like that her “favorite obsession” is sex and that if she wasn’t a musician she would love to be a teacher.

The mother-of-six admitted she couldn’t express herself as an artist while married to Guy Ritchie.

“There were times when I felt imprisoned. I wasn’t really allowed to be myself,” she told The Sun newspaper in 2015. “You have to find someone who accepts who you are and is comfortable with that.”

Madonna previously said she would rather be “run over by a train” than walk up the church steps again.

Speaking about her career, she said she would love to work with Britney Spears again, 19 years after the release of their hit Me Against The Music.
