Shortly after FBI investigation into Donald Trump’s residence in Mar-a-Lago the former president took to social media to vent his anger over the fact that agents also searched his wife’s clothing and personal effects.
“I just learned that agents searched the First Lady’s closets and searched her clothes and personal effects leaving a relative mess. Wow!Trump posted on Truth Social.
He was much angrier than her Melania Trump, according to five CNN accounts. The investigation focused on every space used by the former president. CNN reports that the couple have separate bedrooms in their 3,500-square-foot mansion. Melania’s bedroom and walk-in closet are near Trump’s bedroom and office.
Although she was disturbed by strangers rummaging through her curated and expensive collection of clothes, shoes and handbags, those who know her say she was – and remains – characteristically quiet.
Her composure also stems from the certainty that nothing will be found in her bedroom or closet. “She would never allow him to have anything of his own in her room ,” a source tells CNN.
