Bolsonaro wins support from Malvino Salvador, Juliette goes from Lula: know the artists’ vote

Last Monday (29), Juliette posted on her Twitter that, despite having “legitimate and natural reservations” about all the candidates, she has already made up her mind: “There is no way to say otherwise, there is no way to shut up, my vote it’s in Lula”, she wrote, passing the message to her more than 5 million followers on that network (on Instagram there are 33 million).

Less than a month before the presidential elections, the singer and BBB 21 winner is yet another celebrity who has chosen to publicly declare her vote, leaving behind the discourse of political neutrality – and she has other young artists and influencers by her side.

People like youtuber Bianca Andrade, Boca Rosa, who in the same week also announced her vote for Lula. The reason: “I’m part of a new generation of entrepreneurs who are tired of sitting with the same people. I want women at my table, LGBTQIAP+ people, black people. That’s the environment I want”.

Although indirectly, Marisa Monte, a real unknown as to her political position throughout her career, also showed support for Lula by applauding the pro-PT candidate choir that came from the audience of one of his shows in Rio. She also made a vigorous speech in favor of the electronic voting machine, so opposed and criticized by Bolsonaro.

There was also Hurricane Anitta, in July, shaking up the electoral campaign by declaring the vote for Lula and making itself available to help him get elected. A former voter of Ciro Gomes, Caetano Veloso joined them in an emotional way. “I cried when I saw Lula on Jornal Nacional”, he said, right after the Saturday interview on Globo, at the end of August.

The list of personalities who have already declared their vote for the PT candidate also includes Luisa Sonza, Emicida, Gloria Groove, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, Mano Brown, Felipe Neto, Daniela Mercury, Ludmilla, Gil do Vigor, Pabllo Vittar, Manu Gavassi, Camila Pitanga and Alceu Valença, among others.

Jair Bolsonaro, on the other hand, remains firm among the sertanejos and has been gaining new supporters among artists. They have already declared that they vote for him and admire him: Zezé di Camargo, Sérgio Reis, Gusttavo Lima, Bruno (from the duo with Marrone), Chrystian (from the duo with Ralf), the rockers Roger (Ultraje a Rigor) and Digão (Raimundos), Latino , Ratinho, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Andressa Urach and Thiago Gagliasso, to name a few.

The most recent public support among celebrities came from actor Malvino Salvador, who this Tuesday (6th) came out in defense of the reelection candidate by participating in the podcast “Cara a Tapa”. Malvino classified Bolsonaro as a person of “good intentions”, who has been “massacred by the media in a dishonest way”.

Open parentheses. The actor is married to the commentator and jiu-jitsu fighter Kyra Gracie, from the traditional clan of fighters which his uncle Renzo, based in the United States, also belongs to. In 2019, Bolsonaro awarded him the title of “ambassador of Brazilian tourism”, as he did with Ronaldinho Gaúcho.

A month after the honor, Renzo was involved in a diplomatic incident with France, calling the country’s president, Emmanuel Macron, a “clown”. For Renzo, the politician had “a chicken neck”, and his wife, First Lady Brigitte, was “a dragon”. Close parentheses.

Who also joined the Bolsonarista campaign with full force was the promoter, former TV presenter and former handyman of Gal Costa (he was a mix of press advisor and private secretary), Amin Khader. More than supporting, he declared himself to the president. “Love you,” he wrote on Instagram.

Former heartthrob, conservative and contemporary of Mario Frias, actor Felipe Folgosi, 48, has not only been supporting and praising Bolsonaro in his networks, but has also followed his path: he also joined the PL and launched himself as a candidate for federal deputy for Sao Paulo. “Sete de Setembro is going to be the nail in the TSE’s coffin. Let’s celebrate our independence from this damn left, in the name of Jesus”, he urges, while campaigning on his Instagram account.
