Baker Nathanael Santos, runner-up of the seventh season of Bake Off Brasil (SBT), died at the age of 27 on Wednesday night (7), in the city of Maceió, in Alagoas. The information was confirmed by his advice on his Instagram.
“It is with great regret that we communicate the death of the unforgettable Nathanael Santos. Soon we will pass on more information”, wrote the team, reinforcing that all communication would be done through the cook’s profile. He suffered a cardiac arrest.
The wake takes place this Thursday (8) at 1 pm, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Cidade Universitária in Maceió. Burial will be at Memorial Parque Maceió, starting at 6 pm. Family members asked for help to pay the funeral expenses.
The presenter of the reality, Nadja Haddad, published on her Instagram a tribute to Nathan. “Dedicated, hardworking, passionate about baking. Boldness with flavors was his strong point! He stood out brilliantly in the last season of our Bake Off, winning a spot in the grand final!”, he began.
“And he won many friendships too. We will never understand why this call was so early in human eyes. But we know that, for everything, God has a purpose. We are grieving. We are devastated! Shine where you are, Nathan.”
