The festival is organized by the Cultural Association of Sifnos, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, with the co-organizers of the South Aegean Region, the General Secretariat of the Aegean and Islands Policy and the Municipality of Sifnos, and with the support of local associations and organizations.

Delegations from the islands of the Cyclades, other regions of Greece and foreign countries, such as France, Belgium, China, Morocco and Peru, will “meet” in Sifnos. Amateurs together with professional cooks they will prepare and present the recipes of their place, offering unique dishes to the visitors. In a landscaped corner of the square, children aged 6 to 12, the “Tselementakia”, will participate in cooking games and competitions, dressed in aprons and colorful cooking caps. The festival will last every day from 18:00 to 21:30 and the “baton” will be taken over by traditional music and dance events. During the morning hours, cooking of traditional dishes will take place on the beaches of the island, next to the sea. Entrance to the festival will be free and the offered food will be treated.
