Owner of a meteoric career and immersed in a great controversy, Iran Ferreira, the Luva de Pedreiro, 20, announced this Tuesday (13) the end of the videos he usually posts on social networks and that always reach millions of likes and views. He has over 18 million followers.
The young man from Quijingue, a city 322 kilometers from Salvador, began to go viral on the internet in mid-March 2021 when he published his first video. After bursting, the following videos began to follow the same essence as the first: a dirt field, a ball and a shot at an angle that doesn’t give the goalkeeper chances. “Receive, thank you, my God”, he shouted after the fact.
The gloves he always wore, according to him, are good for luck and make him “the best in the world”, as he used to say. Over time, the content published by Iran began to reach professional players like Neymar, who he can meet in Paris, and celebrities like presenter Luciano Huck, who took him to Globo for the first time.
Luva’s trajectory was also marked by the controversy with Allan Jesus, his former manager. The fight, with a lot of money involved, ended up in court and took the media spotlight across the country. After the dust settled and a first attempt by the influencer to withdraw from continuing his career, the former indoor soccer player Falcão took over Luva’s agency in June this year.
But the partnership, which until then had yielded a good advertising contract with the sports brand Adidas, parties with celebrities, a new house to live in and trips abroad, lasted only two months. This Tuesday (13), Glova de Pedreiro announced that she would like to live her life and that she would not record any more content. Luva also deleted everything from his Instagram without saying what motivated him to make this decision.
