The well-known Italian businesswoman and influencer Chiara Ferrani sounded the alarm again, citing a far-right danger that she believes her country could soon face.
Ferrani shared on her Instagram profile an “anti-fascist, anti-racist and supportive appeal to the LGBTI+ community” and invited her followers (more than 27 million internet users) to read it carefully.
In this appeal it is underlined that the Italian general election on 25 September will not be one usual encounter and that, “according to predictions, they will lead to the birth of the most right-wing government (and in terms of ideological extremism) in the entire history of the Italian republic”.
