Proceeding for racial slur against Luisa Sonza comes to light and Gentili says she is ‘protected’

by

Presenter Danilo Gentili used his networks to criticize the little attention given by “gossip sites” and “social justice influencers” to the racial slur lawsuit filed against singer Luisa Sonza.

The matter returned to the agenda because the hearing of the process, reported by F5 last July, was scheduled for last Wednesday (14).

In a series of posts, Gentili claims that Sonza is part of the cast of an agency “of beautiful people from Leblon”, a group formed by some of the biggest influencers in the country, who would form a network of mutual support and orchestrated attacks.

The agency, according to the presenter, would use a “massive network of fake profiles and gossip that have already lynched and asked for the heads of many people”.

The presenter followed his post, sometimes in a tone of outburst, sometimes of denunciation. “I’m serious, Luísa Sonza, that you asked a black woman who doesn’t know to get you water and was sued for racism, [mas] Are your agency’s social justice influencers quiet? What a curious thing, no? When it’s a comedian making a joke they mobilize and get the fuck down,” she wrote.

Sonza was denounced in 2020 by Isabel Macedo de Jesus, a black lawyer who says she was mistaken for an employee of the inn where the two were, during an event, in Fernando de Noronha, two years earlier.

The singer, according to Isabel, would have asked her to go get a glass of water, in addition to patting her arm, so that it wouldn’t take too long.

At the time, Sonza’s lawyer, José Tinham Macedo Lima, said that the accusations were “false, untrue” and would come at “an opportunistic moment due to the exponential growth of the artist’s career.” Sought by F5 on Saturday night (17), the singer’s advice did not respond until the conclusion of this text.
