THE Brad Pitt presents sculpture works he created in a new exhibition in Finland. The American actor is participating in the exhibition ‘Thomas Houseago’s WE with Nick Cave & Brad Pitt’ held at a Museum in Tampere, which also includes ceramic works by Australian singer-songwriter Nick Cave and British sculptor and painter Thomas Houseago.

Brad Pitt’s collection of nine objects includes small-scale sculptures and large-scale creations, including a bronze work depicting Han Solo from the “Star Wars” film series and a miniature house made of tree bark.

The Oscar-winning actor created several wooden candle holders “Candle Holders For Loved Ones” which he explained were “created during the period of Covid-19”.

Brad Pitt did not attend the opening of the exhibition, at the Sara Hildén Art Museum, but photos from the exhibition of the American actor’s works were posted on social media by artist/designer DeBranne Treu. “He is a true artist who creates with intense passion and drive” she wrote among other things in her comments.

“I am very happy and proud that Thomas Housego decided to bring the We exhibition to Tampere. It is also exciting to experience a new and different artistic side of Nick Cave and Brad Pitt.

WE conveys a strong message of collaboration and a sense of community that fits perfectly with Tampere, as the city is known for its capacity for change and making bold decisions together. The message of co-creating and relying on each other is very powerful in these turbulent times,” said Tampere Mayor Anna Kaisa Ikonen.
