Prince George threatens schoolmate during fight: ‘My father will be king’

by

Prince George, 9, the son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, already knows he’s second in line to the British throne and has threatened a schoolmate during a fight, according to writer Katie Nicholl in her new book “The New Royals”.

“George understands that he will one day be king, and as a boy he fought with friends at school, besting his peers with the killer line: ‘My father will be king, so you better watch out,'” he said.

In the book, writer Nicholl stated that George and his siblings Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, are being raised with an understanding of the monarchy and a “sense of duty”.

The author added that the Duke and Duchess of Wales are trying not to burden George with too many responsibilities too soon even though he knows he will one day be monarch. “They are raising their children, especially Prince George, with an awareness of who he is and the role he will inherit,” Nicholl wrote.

Nicholl also stated that Kate Middleton admires the parenting techniques used by Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, who share children Lady Louise Windsor, 18, and James, Viscount Severn, 14.

Despite their parents being royals, the children, who are the youngest grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, grew up without titles of Her Royal Highness and out of the public eye.
