Iconic 1990s girl group to reissue 1997 album ‘Spiceworld’ to mark 25 years since sophomore LP
The Spice Girls – the iconic girl group of the 1990s – are making a musical comeback.
According to a Daily Mail report, on November 4 the group will re-release their 1997 album “Spiceworld” to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their second LP.
According to posts on the Spice Girls’ official social media accounts, the expanded album will include demos, new remixes and unreleased live recordings and songs, including the long-awaited ‘Step To Me’, which originally appeared in the Spice Girls’ ad campaign for Pepsi.
The five original members – Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham, Melanie ‘Sporty’ Chisholm, Geri ‘Ginge’ Halliwell, Melanie ‘Scary’ Brown and Emma ‘Baby’ Bunton – curated the reissue, which will also include a 15-minute greatest hits megamix them, entitled “Spice Girls Party Mix”.

“The ‘Spiceworld’ era was such a fun time for us. We had a number one album with Spice, we were traveling the world and meeting our amazing fans, we released our second album and we had our own movie!” says the band in a statement.
“Who would have thought it? It’s crazy to think that 25 years have passed,” he notes.
